Almost every company is launching its electric SUV. In 2026, four more new SUVs can be launched in India that have great features and big batteries, which will give them long range. Along with Tata Motors, Hyundai and Kia are also continuously launching their electric cars.
1. Kia Siros Electric
The Kia Siros Electric is a great subcompact SUV that is expected to have a range of about 450 km. This is Kia’s smallest electric SUV car, which will be launched at a very affordable price. This car has a 12.3-inch touchscreen system, a 5-inch climate control touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Comfortable seats are expected to be available in it along with an adjustable steering wheel and a rear parking camera. Two reading lights and charging sockets can be found on the upper side for those sitting on the rear seats in the car.

2. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
Mahindra will also launch the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV car by the end of 2025 or early 2026. This car will have a 34.5 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 400 km. There will also be an option of DC fast charging for fast charging of this car, with which the battery can be recharged in a very short time.
The XUV 3XO EV 6 has airbags, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system, as well as a rear parking camera sensor. Along with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, it will also have a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 360-degree camera. This car can be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.50 lakh.
3. Updated Tata Punch EV
The facelift version of the Tata Punch EV is expected to be launched in 2026, which may get a bigger battery pack, which will allow the car to cover more distance. Its facelift version will get some cosmetic changes as well as some updated features.
This car will have many important features, like a large touchscreen infotainment system, new seat trims, power-adjustable front seats, and a premium sound system, along with a 360-degree camera and blind spot monitor. According to some reports, the new Tata Punch is likely to have features like a digital key and ADAS.
4. Hyundai Inster-Based EV
The Hyundai Inster-based EV is a five-seater subcompact SUV that can be launched by June 2026. This car also has features like a large touchscreen system, 360-degree camera, rear parking sensor, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and one-touch sunroof.
The interior of this car will look great with 64-color ambient lighting. Along with this, it also has a surround-view monitor, parking collision-avoidance assist, and lane-keeping assist. The Hyundai Inster-based EV comes with two types of battery pack options, which can cover long distances on a single charge. This car gives a range of up to 370 km on a single charge.
It can be charged from 10 to 80% in 30 minutes with a DC fast charger, and this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10.6 seconds with a 49 kWh battery. The ex-showroom price of this car is expected to be between Rs 9 and 12 lakh.
5. Maruti e Vitara
The Maruti eVitara will be launched by the end of 2025 with 49 kWh and 61 kWh batteries, which will be Maruti’s first electric SUV. The range of this car is being claimed to be up to 500 km; along with this, it will also have a fast charger so that it can be charged in less time.
This car will also have automatic transmission, 18-inch alloy wheels, and level-2 ADAS. It has a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats; along with this, the driver’s seat can be adjusted electrically.
The ex-showroom price of this car can be around Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. According to some reports, it seems that its top variant will have all-wheel drive capability, in which a 61 kWh battery pack will be given.
