There is great news for those who are thinking of buying an electric scooter because in the next few months, Hero MotoCorp, TVS, and Yamaha will also launch their electric scooters in India. We will give you information about 5 new electric scooters to be launched in India by FY26.
1. Hero Vida VX2
The Hero Vida VX2 is an electric scooter that is expected to get two battery packs of 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh. This scooter can give a range of up to 100 km. This electric scooter, VX2, will come with a BaaS subscription, which will reduce the price of the electric scooter.
The Hero Vida VX2 is expected to come in three colors and will have a minimalist design, a T-seat, and integrated lights along with LED lighting. This scooter is expected to be launched by July 1, 2025, and its price can be around Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000 ex-showroom. This is an estimated price; its actual price will be known only after the launch.
2. Suzuki E-Access
Suzuki is planning to launch its first electric scooter in India, which will be the Suzuki E-Access. This scooter is expected to be launched by July 2025. This scooter has a 3.072 kWh LFP battery with which it will give a range of up to 95 km.
The motor of this scooter will also give a torque of 15 Nm with a power of 4.1 kW. The most special thing about this scooter is that it has the option of DC fast charging, with which it gets fully charged in just 2 hours 12 minutes, whereas if it is charged with a portable charger, then it takes about 6 hours 20 minutes to get fully charged.
This scooter is best for urban areas because it gets a maximum speed of 71 km per hour. It is expected that this scooter will be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 100,000 to 120,000. It has LED headlights, a dual-tone rear section, and vertical DRL.
3. TVS Orbiter
TVS has made the TVS Orbiter scooter keeping in mind the young urban customers. This scooter will be presented with a modern, attractive, and sporty design. It is expected to have two battery pack options of 2.2 kWh and 3.5 kWh. It will give a range of 94 km with a 2.2 kWh battery pack and 145 km with a 3.5 kWh battery pack.
A fast charger will be available to charge it, with which the 2.2 kWh battery pack can be charged from 0 to 80% in 2 hours 45 minutes and its 3.5 kWh battery pack can be charged from 0 to 80% in 4 hours 30 minutes. The design of this scooter will be like iQube, and it will also have an LED headlamp and integrated daytime running lights.
4. Yamaha RY01
The Yamaha RY01 electric scooter is being jointly developed by Yamaha and River Indie and is expected to be launched by the end of 2025. It is expected to have a 4 kWh battery pack with which it will give an IDC-certified range of 161 km.
It will also have features like a removable battery as well as a USB charging port, TFT display, and storage pockets. It can be launched at a price of Rs 1.5 lakh or more.
5. Ather EL e-scooter
Ather can also launch the Ather EL e-scooter by the end of 2025. It will have two battery pack options of 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh, which will give a range of 75 to 116 km. This scooter will get a maximum speed of 80 to 90 km/h, and along with this, it can achieve a speed of 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.4 to 3.9 seconds.
This scooter also has many amazing features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen, navigation, many riding modes, and Bluetooth connectivity. The price of this scooter starts from Rs 1.11 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.90 lakh.
