Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch some new SUVs in India soon, although the company has not officially given any update about when these cars will be launched, but according to some reports, it is expected that these cars will be launched in late 2025 and early 2026. The company is planning to launch some EVs and some hybrid cars.
1. Maruti Escudo
Looking at some recent pictures, it can be ascertained that the company is going to launch a new car soon, about which the company has not officially shared any information. But looking at the pictures, it is clearly visible that this car will be below the Grand Vitara, but its design is very similar to the Grand Vitara and Brezza.
This car can come with 1.5-liter mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid petrol engines. Its interior is also going to be very amazing, and you will get the same features as the Vitara Brezza, and its ex-showroom price is going to be between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh.
It is expected to have a touchscreen infotainment system, several airbags, a semi-digital instrument console, and climate control. Many features like a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and hill hold assist can be found in it.
2. Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara
The Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara is a fully electric upcoming SUV car that will get 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery pack options. The range of this car is about 500 km, and it can be launched by mid-2025. The E-Vitara will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a 10-way powered driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The starting price of this car is around Rs 17 lakh ex-showroom. The company is planning to export this car not only to India but also to 100 countries. This car will compete with cars like the Tata Harrier EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Mahindra BE 6.
This car is expected to have a front-wheel drive setup, and it will be launched in 10 color options. To charge the battery quickly, it will have a fast charging option with which it will be charged from 0 to 80% in just 50 minutes.
