According to some reports, Tata will soon launch some of its compact SUVs in India, which are expected to be priced below Rs 10 lakh. Some of the old models will get a facelift in the newly launched SUV, and some may have improved features. This SUV from Tata is one of the 30 cars to be launched by 2030.
1. All-New Tata Nexon
It is heard that Tata Motors is engaged in making the third generation Nexon, which can be named Garuda. It is expected to have many changes, and its design can also be different from the current model.
This car can include a panoramic sunroof and level 2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, a parking sensor, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, and many other features. This car can be launched in late 2026 or in 2027. The all-new Tata Nexon can get a modern cabin and comfortable seats, and it can also get a large boot space.
2. Updated Tata Punch
Tata Motors is planning to launch the facelift version of the Tata Punch, which will have a new design grille, LED DRL, bumper, and alloy wheels as well. It will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an armrest in the front, and AC vents in the rear for the rear occupants.
The updated Tata Punch is expected to have the same 1.2-liter petrol engine, which will generate 88 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. A CNG option is also expected to be available in it. According to some reports, AMT transmission can also be included in its CNG variant.
3. Tata Scarlett
The Tata Scarlett is a compact SUV with a length of less than 4 meters. The design of this car will be box-type, and it will be based on a monocoque platform. The design of this car is inspired by the Tata Sierra; its look is expected to be slightly different from other SUVs. With both petrol/diesel and electric powertrains, this car will give better handling and ride quality. This car will compete with the Mahindra Bolero.
4. Updated Tata Punch EV
The Tata Punch EV will also be launched in India soon by Tata, which is expected to get a bigger battery pack and some new features. Its facelift version can get a bigger infotainment touchscreen, premium sound system, and many other features. Due to the bigger battery pack in its facelift version, the range can also be quite high.
