Why did the company choose the Tesla Model Y?
Many of you must have this question in your mind: why will the company first sell the Tesla Model Y in India? The main reason for this is that it is the best-selling car in the world. For this reason, the company has chosen the Tesla Model Y as the first Tesla car to be sold in India.
If we talk about the price of this car, then the price of this model manufactured in China is around $32,270, which is around Rs 28 lakh in Indian rupees. The price of this car is expected to be very high in India. Due to the 70 percent import duty on fully built units of EV cars priced below $40,000, its price can be around Rs 40 lakh or even more.
The Tesla Model Y has ventilated seats, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch touchscreen for rear passengers, and second-row seats that can be power reclined. Regarding the Tesla Model Y, the company has also claimed that due to its Supercharge network, this car can cover a distance of 293 km in just 15 minutes of charging.
